Destiny The Taken King_Crucible 02

Bungie’s Destiny will be receiving its most significant update since The Taken King with the upcoming April Update. Tomorrow’s live-stream will unveil changes to the sandbox and Crucible but it won’t showcase the long-awaited private matches.

When asked if private matches would be unveiled tomorrow, Community manager David “DeeJ” Dague on Twitter said, “Nope. We’ll talk about Weapon balance, the future of Warlocks, and changes to rewards and gameplay in the Crucible. ”

The Warlock changes are interesting since many have estimated from the Prison of Elders stream that Sunsingers have the duration of Radiance reduced. Tomorrow it seems we’ll finally get the truth.

The April Update is out on April 12th for PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. It will add new weapons, a revamped Prison of Elders and the new Challenge of Elders mode, a higher Light level and much more. Will it be enough to get players back into Destiny? We’ll find out next week.
