Destiny Collector’s Edition Revealed Next Week?

Bungie's online shooter gets a whole lot more intricate.

Destiny (3)

Bungie’s Destiny hasn’t exactly been updated with the most concurrent details – we haven’t seen much gameplay footage lately and the announcement of a release date and public beta seem to be the only significant developments. Regardless, Bungie is hard at work on the persistent online shooter and may be revealing a collector’s edition for the same next week.

This was indicated on the developer’s blog where a fan asked if a collector’s edition was in the works. Bungie replied, “Ask us again next week.”

At this point, why not? Hopefully, there will also be details available about beta access, with those pre-ordering the collector’s edition to receive early access or something to that effect. We also expect the standard collectible, wily packaging and inventiveness that defined the Halo series’ collector’s editions.

Destiny releases on September 9th for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 worldwide. Stay tuned for more details next week.
