Destiny E3 Plans and Customization Information Detailed

Information coming at E3 next week.

Destiny, the upcoming persistently online first person shooter by Bungie, the folks who brought us the paradigm setting Halo more than a decade ago, is due for release later this year on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. The upcoming E3 will probably be the last one before the launch of the game, so Bungie will be taking full advantage of the opportunity- they have two things planned for this E3, a live gameplay stream with their fans, as well as the announcement of the date for the game’s beta.

Bungie has also confirmed player customization for the game, which will be visible during gameplay when the guardian (i.e. the player character) takes off his or her helmet (which presumably is allowed, at the very least, within the city).

Destiny will also feature multiple control schemes- apparently, the now standard Call of Duty control scheme will be supported by the game, and will even be available within beta.

E3 begins on Monday next week, and we are sure to learn more about Destiny then. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for further coverage.
