Destiny Heavy Weapon Bounties Changing in April Update

Bounties to be adjusted in line with heavy ammo decrease.

Destiny

In its most recent live stream for Destiny‘s April Update, Bungie designer Lars Bakken revealed that heavy ammo would be nerfed for Crucible matches going forward. Essentially this means that heavy ammo will be dropping once during a match and that too five minutes in.

Of course this created concerns among Destiny players since certain bounties, like in Iron Banner, rely on getting kill-streaks with heavy weapons. With limited heavy ammo, these will become more challenging.

Fortunately, Bungie seems cognizant of the fact and according to Bakken on Twitter, “Yep, we brought down the numbers to keep in line with those changes. You can thank @Level_1_Warrior [designer Jeremiah Pieschl] for that.”

Other changes to the Crucible were outlined yesterday and include changes to weapons, balances for Warlocks, special ammo changes and much more. The April Update arrives on the 12th, next Tuesday so stay tuned for more updates and let us know you think of the changes in the comments.
