Destiny Hotfix Nerfs Quick Draw, Truth, Shinobu’s Vow and More

RIP Bladedancers.

The latest hotfix is out now for Bungie’s Destiny and it’s got plenty of players riled up. Along with unintentional (?) changes to all health regen perks in an effort to nerf Hungering Blade on Bladedancers, Bungie released full patch notes for hotfix 2.5.0.2 to reveal some more nerfs.

The Exotic Void rocket launcher Truth, for example, has had its magazine count reduced from 3 to 1. Quick Draw, another much-loved perk on Bladedancers, has now been changed to increase weapon handling speed rather than readying your weapon instantly.

The Viper Totemic perk on Ophidian Aspect, which works similar to Quick Draw, has also been changed to reflect the current change. Shinobu’s Vow also doesn’t provide an additional Skip Grenade charge.

The good news is that Young Wolf’s Howl now only requires 5 Heavy Ammo to activate it’s special attack as opposed to 10. It’s still not as good as Razelighter, Dark-Drinker, Sleeper Simulant, Gjallarhorn or any other heavies but at least it’s not as ammo-hungry as before.

What are your thoughts on all of these changes? Let us know in the comments below (along with why you’re now playing Warframe but actually not).
