Following content leaks for Destiny’s next major expansion House of Wolves, Bungie has officially announced that it will be out in the second quarter of 2015. It clarified that people shouldn’t be misled by the leaks till now and that Q2 could be anywhere from April to June end.

In its earnings call last night, Activision confirmed the second quarter release date of House of Wolves. However, CEO Eric Hirshberg further revealed that there would be another major content update in the fall.

“We have a second [Destiny] expansion on the way, and a major content release coming in the fall. And a very robust pipeline planned after that.”

This is likely to be Plague of Darkness, earlier known as “Comet”, which will add new sub-classes, weapons, story missions and much more on top of the base Destiny package.
