Destiny: Rise of Iron’s Iron Banner will return on November 8th, 10 AM PST according to Bungie in its latest weekly update. Control will be the primary mode of combat this time around.

The end-game-ish PvP activity will last one week and is one of the few PvP modes where Light level advantages are enabled. Granted, they don’t mean much when someone 50 Light levels lower than you can kill you but still. Wins grant Iron Banner standing while losses reward you with a Medallion to be redeemed on your next win (up to five Medallions can be stacked).

This month’s Iron Banner offers the Clever Dragon pulse rifle, the heavy machine gun, boots and chest pieces for various classes. These will likely be available to purchase from vendor Lady Efrideet as you rank up though if past Iron Banners are any indication, you’ll see these weapons drop as post-match rewards too. Light level rewards will go up to 400 this time around.
