Destiny Iron Banner

Destiny‘s Iron Banner, a week long PvP event where your Light level actually makes a difference, has returned to the Crucible after one week’s worth of delay and heavy maintenance on Tuesday.

This week’s weapons in Iron Banner include Colovance’s Duty, a slow ROF high impact scout rifle, and Bretomart’s Stand, a heavy machine gun with high impact and medium ROF. The Legendary gear for this week includes helms and class items.

You’ll need to grind your Iron Banner rank to be able to buy these from Lord Saladin at their listed perks (seen here) but you can also see these items drop during post-match scenarios from rank 1 onwards.

Iron Banner will end on July 5th, 1 AM PST so get to grinding till then (though you can grind later in the week and make use of the Tempered buff for increase rep gains). What are your thoughts on the event thus far? Let us know in the comments below.
