Destiny Iron Banner

Do you hate Destiny? Well good news because Bungie is giving you a reason to hate it even more. The week-long PvP event Iron Banner returns on January 26th, 10 AM PST and for the first time ever, its game mode will be Rift.

You know, Rift. The game mode with the wonky spawns and objective-based gameplay that encourages stomping by teams. The event will end on February 2nd, 12 AM PST so take solace in the fact that your punishment is only for a week.

Bungie has also outlined some of the drops which include class items at rank 3 from Lord Saladin; the chest piece and scout rifle at rank 4; and the fusion rifle at rank 5. Post-game drops include the boots at rank 2; chest piece, PlayStation helm and scout rifle at rank 3; and the fusion rifle at rank 4.

What are your thoughts on Iron Banner being Rift next week? Let the salt flow in the comments.
