Destiny Iron Banner

Bungie’s Destiny is back at it again with Iron Banner Clash returning to the Tower. Starting at 10 AM PST on April 26th, the event will conclude on May 2nd, 2 AM PST. It has been noted that drop rates for Iron Banner specific items have improved since Bungie’s changes in the Spring update.

There are some pretty neat rewards to net as well. The weapons on sale include Tormod’s Bellows, a Legendary rocket launcher with Tripod, Field Scout and Grenades and Horseshoes; and Hakkon’s Hatchet, a Legendary auto rifle with Rangefinder, Perfect Balance and Counterbalance. These weapons are obtained from Lord Saladin upon ranking up in the Iron Banner but can also be earned as drops from matches (with differing perks of course).

Other changes made to the Iron Banner include rewards dropping from Rank 0 onwards (meaning you don’t have to be Rank 1 for rewards) and adjustments to bounties like Iron Domination which now requires a score of 1500 and match completion rather than match victory with an individual score of 2500.
