It’s hard to believe that Bungie has been leaving little hints and teases at Destiny since the days of Halo 3: ODST. Nonetheless, the massive online shooter is nearly upon us and whether you’re a fan of shooters, exploration, questing, raids or just plain deathmatch, Destiny has something for everyone. Check out the launch trailer above for a taste of what to expect in the game.

Destiny has a huge back story focused on defeating the Darkness as part of humanity’s last stronghold, becoming legend and ultimately saving the universe. What this translates to is travelling to various planets with friends, completing missions and battling different tribes of foes. You can also jump into multiplayer for some classic competitive play in modes like team deathmatch and hardpoint.

Releasing on September 9th, Destiny will be out on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. Have you pre-ordered your copy yet? Let us know in the comments below.
