Destiny Live Action “Become Legend” Trailer is All Kinds of Awesome

Yes, even the corny kind.

Yet another trailer of Destiny has been released but before you groan at the collective overload of media for Bungie’s upcoming online shooter, this one is live-action. It showcases the adventures of three Guardians as they hop from the Moon to Venus to Mars, murdering everything in their path. All this set to Led Zepellin’s “Immigrant Song”. Check it out above. And yes, this is the same video that Bungie was teasing yesterday.

On one hand, it highlights just how great Bungie is when it comes to being a part of live-action content (remember all the great Halo live-action spots). On the other, it also feels corny, like the Call of Duty: Ghosts live-action spots, due to some level of integration with “real world players”. Sorry Bungie, but even at our worst we sound better than these three actors.

Regardless, the trailer is amazing. Destiny will be out on September 9th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.
