Bungie’s Destiny has been refreshed with a new weekly Nightfall and Heroic Strike, the former offering a chance at Exotic gear and the latter rewarding Strange Coins (which can be used to purchase merchandise from Xur on Friday).
This week’s Strike is Winter’s Run with the modifiers including Epic (heavily shielded and aggressive enemies), Nightfall (all players return to orbit if fireteam dies) and not one, not two but three Burns: Void Burn, Solar Burn and Arc Burn. Regardless of your choice of weapon, keep in mind that you’ll find a variety of enemies with different corresponding shields and elemental damage. So bring all of your best elemental weapons.
As for the Weekly Heroic, you’ll have to contend with the Heroic and Void Burn modifiers, which means Atheon’s Epilogue, Word of Crota, Praedyth’s Revenge and the Truth will provide an advantage. What are your thoughts on this week’s Nightfall and Heroic Strikes? Let us know in the comments below.
