Destiny The Taken King

If you’ve been unable to log into Bungie’s Destiny, then it’s because of the maintenance currently on-going.

According to the developer’s official Twitter, “Spread the word. Destiny will be offline for maintenance tomorrow, starting at about 8AM PDT. Downtime could last for 6 hours. Future plans!”

This of course means that servers could be back online by the time you read this but it’s better to check back around 2 PM PDT, just to be safe.

Destiny has been in the news quite a lot lately due to the announcement of The Taken King, the next big expansion pack for the game. This expansion pack focuses on Oryx, Crota’s father and his efforts to exact revenge on the Guardians who slayed his son. In the process, players will travel to new planets like Phobos and Saturn while battling a new race called the Taken.

Destiny: The Taken King is out on September 15th for Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360. Stay tuned for more details.
