Destiny

By the time you read this, Bungie’s Destiny should have already received patch 1.1.2. It was scheduled to go live in the morning, PST according to Bungie on Twitter. You’ll be prompted to download the update the next time you try to run Destiny.

Patch 1.1.2 is the developer’s other major update to arrive for the shooter this year, adding new audio options to adjust in-game music and voice volume; introducing new visual options for colour blind players; fixing a majority of the raid glitches that plagued Vault of Glass and Crota’s End; introducing item locking and expanded vault space in the Tower; and last (and certainly least) the ability to wear your helm in the Tower.

The update arrives after Bungie announced a release date for the House of Wolves expansion, which will be out on May 19th. The expansion is expected to offer a new means to upgrade Exotics and even Legendaries and even introduces a new Arena activity called the Prison of Elders. Many are miffed that a new raid won’t be offered though. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
