Destiny Players Take Down Atheon In 17 Seconds

17 seconds is apparently a world record.

Don’t quote me on the legitimacy of the claim, speed runs are pointless to me, but apparently this crew of 3 Sunsinger Warlocks and 3 Gunslinger Hunters have set a world record for slaying Atheon (the final boss encounter in the Vault of Glass Raid) in 17 seconds. If that made no sense to you, fret not! It was simply Destiny speak for 6 gamers banding together to kill something big and evil quickly.

Five of the six person crew were level 30 whilst the other was level 29 and four out of the six were using the exotic rocket launcher Gjallarhorn, which in all honesty looks like a child’s toy. But apparently it’s good when it comes to murdering things, and that’s what counts at the end of the day.

But did you see how much loot this dude picked up from this kill? That’s…well frankly it’s absurd. Well deserved, no doubt, but absurd. Also keep in mind that this isn’t officially a record, they’re just calling it that for bragging rights.
