Numerous reports are claiming that the Destiny Demo on the PS4 has a rather big glitch. This glitch allows users to get their characters past the level seven cap and can basically treat the demo as the full game if they play their cards just right. There have been numerous reports on Reddit, Facebook and Twitter all with users saying they have found this glitch and have managed to go well past level seven.

Some users are saying they are basically able to use the demo as a digital download of the game, as long as they also have the disc and have already created a character. Some users are even saying they are able to access raids that would usually only be available to characters that are well past the level seven limit. It turns out that this isn’t a particularly new glitch either. Some users have claimed it has been around for more than six months and that people have managed to get to level 9 and beyond.

It doesn’t appear as if this glitch is happening on all PS4s but there are enough times the demo has done this that numerous people have managed to document the event. With the Taken King just a few weeks away now, Bungie isn’t paying much attention to what is going on in its demo and that is apparently a bonus for demo players. Destiny’s The Taken King DLC, easily the biggest update the game has ever gotten is set to launch on September 15.
