Destiny The Taken King_01

As if the Festival of the Lost event wasn’t enough to interest Destiny fans in the wake of so many blockbusters releasing (like Halo 5: Guardians and Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate), Bungie has also added a new map to the Crucible circulation: Cathedral of Dusk.

Taking place on the Dreadnaught, the map is of average size and has an amazing sky box with Saturn and the wreckage of the Awoken’s attack on Oryx floating in space. The layout itself has plenty of small spaces and even platforms that can burn you if you stand on them for too long. At this point, Cathedral of Dusk has been reportedly seen in the Rift, Clash and Control playlists. There’s no word on its availability for Skirmish, Salvage or Elimination but keep your eyes open.

Check out the map below (courtesy of Morgan Cain) to get a better idea for what to look forward to. What are your thoughts on the new additions to Destiny in this week? Let us know in the comments below.
