Destiny

Bungie has begun to roll out information for Destiny’s The Taken King DLC, which launches in September, and many of the unique changes we can expect. One of those includes the new Quest UI which slots Bounties and Quests into a single page for players to handle.

Some of the highlights of the Quests page include an increase to Bounty slots; tracking both Quests and Bounties in the HUD; turning in completed Bounties from the Quests Page rather than returning to the Tower; and shifting the Reputation gain status from the Inventory page to the Quests page. Creative director Luke Smith also noted that in line with quests in The Taken King, that all Year One content has undergone the “quest” treatment.

This essentially means that all previous content can now be tracked from the Quest screen and filled with lots of new information text.

The new Quests interface will be coming with update 2.0 which seems to be arriving when The Taken King launches on September 15th. So stay tuned for more information on that.
