Destiny Rise of Iron

Rise of Iron, Bungie’s next big expansion for Destiny, will bring more than just new content or new gear to series’ fans. It will also introduce some new Achievements and Trophies for the avid accolade hunters in all of us.

As per Bungie in its latest Weekly Update, some of the new Achievements/Trophies include “Mountain Climber”, which you get for completing the mission “King of the Mountain” (which we assume to be the retaking of Felwinter’s Peak); “The Young Wolf” for completing the “Rise of Iron” quest; “Student of History” for activating all of the Iron Lord Artifacts, which are now special items that bestow different kinds of buffs like no sprint cooldown; “Forging Ahead” for finishing an encounter an Archon’s Forge; and of course, raid-based accolades.

Though Rise of Iron is out on September 20th, Destiny’s update 2.4.0 already made a significant number of changes to the current experience. The Exotic sidearm Trespasser is dropping and interface menus have been changed. What are your thoughts on the expansion and the new Achievements/Trophies? Let us know below.
