Destiny Rise of Iron

Bungie’s next expansion for Destiny is just a few days away with Rise of Iron. This being a new expansion means a new raid, namely Wrath of the Machine, and thanks to the new Light level cap, players will have to gear up in order to tackle it.

In an interview with Mashable, Rise of Iron director Christopher Barrett revealed that the recommended Light level for the raid will be 360. Maximum Light at launch will be 385 with the Hard Mode raid launch bringing it to 400 but 360 will be the minimum to start with (which is also the recommended Light for the new Weekly Nightfall Strikes).

Barrett also revealed something rather interesting concerning Prison of Elders and Queen’s Bounty packages. “We have updated the Prison of Elders faction packages and Queen’s Bounty faction packages, and all factions in the Tower.”

This seems to indicate that there will be new Queen’s Armour or at least new weapons once the expansion is out on September 20th. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.
