Destiny House of Wolves

Bungie is readying for the final deployment of Destiny’s next expansion House of Wolves and with the Queen’s Wrath event on-going, a new patch releasing tomorrow and all the content the expansion is promising, there’s a fair amount of maintenance to be done.

Hence, Bungie has announced on Twitter that, “Monday morning will see some brief interruptions to Destiny service to allow for final preparations to release House of Wolves. Stay tuned.”

It later followed up by stating that users should, “Anticipate brief connection interruptions as early as 8AM Pacific on Monday (5/18) morning. Stay tuned here for one hour warning.”

So if you have plans to raid tonight, then you might want to reconsider. “Be careful about starting activities you can’t finish before 8AM Pacific. Watch this space for details.” This seems to indicate that all players engaged in activities will be booted out of the game when maintenance begins.

Destiny’s House of Wolves expansion releases on May 19th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.
