Destiny’s first expansion The Dark Below has gone live for current and previous gen console owners. Players who boot up the game will be invited to the Tower where new quest NPC Eris is available.

The Dark Below adds three new story missions, three new PvP maps for the Crucible, a brand new Strike mission (plus what seems to be a dedicated playlist for Dark Below Nightfall Strikes) and of course, the new Raid mission “Crota’s End”. You can also partake in a new level 26 Strike playlist which will randomly assign a Strike at said level.

Vendors have also been updated with new Legendary Gear – which is now significantly costlier than before – and Weapons. You’ll need commendations in order to unlock some of the gear including the weapons, chest plates and helms.
