Yesterday was yet another Armsday in Destiny: The Taken King and that means that there is a new lineup of weapons you can work you hindquarters off in order to get. Among the most exotic and powerful weapons you can attempt to score is the Bolt-Caster sword. If you want to get your hands on this weapon, there are a number of steps you’ll have to go through. The first step is that you’ll need to have the legendary version of this sword, called the Arc Edge.

Videogamer 247 has the rest of the steps you’ll need to go through in order to get this very special weapon. The first real step is to infuse Arc Edge with a more powerful weapon in order to bring the attack stat to 280 or above. Once it’s been infused, you will see that there is a new ammo slot. Lord Shaxx will also give you a brand new quest chain, called A Sword Reforged. This is by no means, easy as Bungie has gone out of its way to make sure none of the exotic weapons are grabbed easily.

Along the way, you’ll need to get 50 Major kills and 25 Guardian kills, which means you’ll need to get some pretty massive Crucible kills. After you complete this phase, you’ll need to grab a number of different materials. Then you’ll have to wait until the next Armsday in order to cash in and get the weapon that you want. The process is rather long and it’s been helpfully detailed in the video below but its well worth it as the Bolt-Caster is an impressive weapon. Check out the video and get on the road to getting this weapon.
