Destiny Trials of Osiris

There are two Trials of Osiris events remaining in Destiny before The Taken King drops but this weekend will be the last one before update 2.0 drops, thus nerfing weapons like The Last Word and Thorn. If you’re looking to dominate scrubs in some 3 vs. 3 Elimination PvP, now’s your time.

The map this week is Black Shield on Phobos, a map which is known for its massive indoor structure and three entrances. Brother Vance is selling The Scholar as this week’s Trials reward weapon while his gear includes Cover of the Exile (Hunter helm), Hood of the Exile (Warlock helm) and Helm of the Exile (Titan helm). You can check out stats and rolls here.

It should be noted that not only will update 2.0 bring changes to guns on September 8th but it will also allow access to The Taken King’s Crucible modes and maps a week early. Even better, all players – regardless if they bought The Taken King – will be able to pick it up. The Taken King, meanwhile, is out on September 15th.
