Destiny Update 2.0 Issues Currently Under Investigation by Bungie

Except the lack of rewards for Patrol and Faction missions. You're out of luck there.

Destiny The Taken King

As mentioned before, Destiny players are facing several issues from update 2.0. Those who pre-ordered The Taken King haven’t received their emblems, shaders and Exotics yet and a new forum post has highlighted some of the other major issues.

For instance, some players who suffer multiple status effects can have their game crash. Xbox One players who purchased The Taken King Collector’s Edition are unable to install the latest patch. Then there’s the issue of Patrol missions and Faction quests that aren’t granting rewards to players. It seems that these activities will only offer rewards when The Taken King is out but those who’ve completed the same will not receive their rewards retroactively.

Bungie is currently investigating all the other issues but those who want to take on the new Faction quests and Patrol missions are better off waiting for The Taken King’s release on September 15th for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS3.
