Destiny The Taken King

Bungie’s Destiny has finally received update 2.0. If you’re currently playing a Weekly or Nightfall activity, you’ll be booted back to orbit to download the update (which weighs 17.65 GB).

The patch notes are also finally out for the same and it’s amazing to note the number of changes. Supers have been tweaked all around, various Year One perks and Exotics have been modified, the new Quest interface has been introduced, Nolan North replaces Peter Dinklage as the voice of Ghost, all players are automatically grand-fathered in at the highest possible Light level in order to facilitate the separation of Light and Player levels and much, much more.

And Gjallarhorn? As it turns out, the damage done by Wolfpack rounds was reduced by 1/3rd, which isn’t too shabby at all.

Bungie’s site is currently down so read up on it all here. Destiny’s The Taken King will be out on September 15th so stay tuned for more information in the coming days.
