Destiny

Bungie’s Destiny has received a number of new features today with its weekly reset like a new Nightfall and the Golgoroth Challenge mode in the King’s Fall raid. Though we’re still unsure whether the Sparrow Racing League is currently available, we do know that update 2.1.0 will be deploying it in the morning, PST (most likely at 10 AM PST). So if you didn’t see it with the weekly reset, don’t worry.

Update 2.1.0 is a big update as it balances out the game’s weapon types. Pulse rifles are receiving damage nerfs, auto rifles will have their damage buffed, handcannons will have better stability in mid-to-close range, shotguns will be facing a bevy of nerfs and much more. Though it’s doubtful the Crucible meta will change too much, you can count on some weapons being more common than before.

The update will also add several Year Two versions of Year One Exotics including the Bones of Eao, MIDA Multi-Tool, Hard Light, No Land Beyond, Peregrine Greaves and much more. Sunbreaker Titans will also be seeing a range of nerfs though Defenders and Strikers will be buffed in the process.

What are you looking forward to in update 2.1.0 for Destiny? Let us know in the comments.
