Destiny

Did you miss ol’ Valus Ta’aurc? Well good news: Destiny’s Nightfall sees the return of Ceberus Vae III, meaning you finally have a reason to replay the Year One strike outside of its existence in the Vanguard Heroic Playlist.

The modifiers for the Nightfall include Epic (heavily shielded enemies), Fresh Troops (enemy squads have additional reinforcements, which can mean the existence of Taken), Airborne (deal more damage in the air), Specialist (Special weapon damage is favoured) and Trickle (abilities take much longer to recharge).

As usual, the weekly bounties for Lord Shaxx, Arcite 99-40 and Petra Venj have also been refreshed. Those awaiting more after conquering King’s Fall Hard Mode can take heart as Bungie has confirmed three different challenges for the raid. When these arrive remains to be seen but you will have an opportunity to collect the remaining Calcified Fragments.

What are your thoughts on this week’s Nightfall? Let us know in the comments.
