Destiny The Taken King

Yes, Bungie’s Destiny is still a thing, with or without Tom Clancy’s The Division releasing this week. The weekly reset has come and gone, prompting some new activities.

The Nightfall this week Fallen S.A.B.E.R. with Fresh Troops (larger numbers of enemies), Match Game (enemies immune to all but the corresponding element’s damage), Airborne (deal more damage while in the air), and Catapult (grenades recharge much faster) modifiers on.

The Challenge Mode this week is Oryx on the King’s Fall raid. Completing the raid on Normal mode will net you some 310 Light level loot. Finish it on Heroic will grant you 320 Light level loot. The challenge itself is easy (ish): Detonate 16 orbs of Corrupted Light at once. It’s really that easy.

Oh, and if you’re interested in Court of Oryx Tier 3, the boss is Thalnok, Fanatic of Crota.

What are your thoughts on this week’s activities? Let us know in the comments.
