Destiny Weekly Reset: Nexus Nightfall, Solar Burn Heroic Strikes

No Daybreak Strike this week.

Posted By | On 04th, Apr. 2017

The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny, bringing a range of familiar activities with even more familiar modifiers. It’s just business as usual until Destiny 2 arrives.

This week’s Nightfall is The Nexus with Epic, Arc Burn (increased Arc damage), Specialist (increased Special weapon damage), Juggler (no ammo drops for equipped weapon) and Ironclad (more enemies appear with shields). If you got lucky in Crota’s End, then Fang of Ir Yut, Oversoul Edict and any Arc sniper will work fabulously here. Of course, you can also fall back on Zhalo Supercell or Boltcaster as your Exotic Arc weapon.

Weekly Heroic Strike modifiers include Heroic, Solar Burn (increased Solar damage), Brawler (Guardian melee damage increased) and Chaff (no radar). Once again, Abyss Defiant from Crota’s End will work here but otherwise, Sunsingers, Gunslingers with Celestial Nighthawk and Sunbreakers should have an easy time. Those interested in Wrath of the Machine will see Vosik as this week’s challenge.
