Destiny The Taken King

The weekly reset has come and gone in Bungie’s Destiny, which means pretty much the same stuff you’ve been doing till now.

The Nightfall this week is Shield Brothers, which takes you to the Dreadnaught to fight off a pair of Cabal commanders. The problem is the modifiers: Epic, Solar Burn, Berserk and Juggler which means enemies that don’t flinch, ammo that doesn’t drop for your current weapon and near instant death from all the mobs. Specialist is also active, increasing damage done by shotguns and sniper rifles but Juggler means you’ll need to use your primary every now and again.

The Challenge Mode for this week is the Warpriest. Simply have a different aura holder for each damage phase (use the dissolving monoliths as a way to keep track) and you should net your 310 Light level loot (320 Light level at Heroic) without much hassle.

Perhaps Bungie will finally unveil its Spring content plans this week? One can certainly hope.
