Destiny Weekly Reset: Shield Brothers With Specialist, Airborne is Nightfall

Let's all go to the Dreadnaught (again).

Destiny The Taken King

Not interested in the Sparrow Racing League, Golgoroth Challenge Mode or the weapon changes for PvP in Destiny arriving later today? Worry not – the weekly reset has also brought a “new” Nightfall. It’s actually the Shield Brothers strike on the Dreadnaught with a set of modifiers.

This Nightfall’s modifiers include Epic (heavily shielded enemies in greater numbers), Specialist (Special weapon damage is buffed), Chaff (radar is disabled), Fresh Troops (Additional reinforcements for some enemy squads) and Airborne (players do more damage in the air). Telesto are actually very useful here since you can fire the pellets and then leap into the air, dealing increased damage when the pellets detonate.

There’s also the usual range of weekly bounties courtesy of Arcite 99-40, Lord Shaxx and Petra along with “new” Prison of Elders activities which you can read more about here. What are your thoughts on this week’s activities though, especially with the new Golgoroth challenge and the Sparrow Racing League? Let us know in the comments.
