Destiny The Taken King

The weekly reset has come and gone in Bungie’s Destiny and while more content is on the way in Spring – not to mention the Iron Banner returning on February 23rd – it’s still much of the same stuff you’ve been doing till now.

The Nightfall this week is The Undying Mind with the modifiers Solar Burn, Brawler, Grounded and Match Game on. Grounded means you’ll take more damage in the air while Match Game requires you to have the correct element weapon for enemy shields. Brawler increases your melee damage but Solar Burn will be the toughest to contend with given the abundance of Vex with Solar weapons.

The Challenge mode for this week is Oryx in the King’s Fall raid. As usual, Normal mode nets you 310 Light level loot while Heroic mode grants 320 Light level drops. The basic requirements are detonating 16 Corrupted Orbs of Light at once. It’s easier than it sounds, don’t worry.
