The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny, which will be receiving Iron Banner later today and The Dawning event on December 13th. This means a relatively “new” Nightfall activity, new modifiers on the Heroic Strikes and a new raid challenge.
The Ngihtfall this week is The Will of Crota with Epic, Arc Burn, Small Arms, Grounded and Ironclad. The Zhalo Supercell will be your friend here thanks to increased Arc and primary weapon damage. Be careful though – most attacks in the Strike are Arc and can shred you quickly. Especially don’t jump during the experience.
The SIVA Crisis Heroic playlist has Heroic, Void Burn, Brawler and Ironclad which should be fun for Voidwalkers and Defenders given the increased melee and Void damage. Take a primary like Monte Carlo to ensure your melee is always up.
As for Wrath of the Machine, the Rise of Iron raid, it’s the Aksis challenge this week. Simply make sure you supercharge a plate during each teleport and make sure not to miss a single charge. Oh, and don’t miss any slams on Aksis either. Simple enough, right?
