Destiny_April Update

The reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny, bringing some new weekly activities for players to complete.

This week’s Nightfall is Winter’s Run, the Year Two version, with Specialist, Fresh Troops, Trickle and Exposure attached as modifiers. Fresh Troops and Trickle are a headache due to the increased number of enemies and decreased ability recharge but at least Exposure offers increased shields. Specialist will also tilt the scales in your favour with special weapons like sniper rifles and shotguns doing increased damage.

The Challenge of the Elders this week is interesting because it comes with Airborne (increased damage while in the air) and Chaff (radar disabled). Melee kills are the bonus this week and the bosses are Val Aru’un, Seditious Mind and Keksis the Betrayed.

For those interested in King’s Fall, Oryx is the Challenge Mode for this week.

What are your thoughts on this week’s activities? Let us know in the comments.
