Destiny

Though teasing as much last week, Bungie revealed in its recent Weekly Update how it would be working on new audio and visual options for players in Destiny with patch 1.1.2. This includes the long-requested ability to alter the volume of different audio in-game.

So whether it’s reducing the music volume (or muting it entirely), increasing the volume of chat through your speakers and just eliminating the spoken dialogue altogether (no more, “We’ve awoken the Hive!” for those who don’t want it), players will finally be able to dictate how they want to hear Destiny.

That’s not all of course. Bungie will also implement various options for colourblind users who have trouble distinguishing between the colours of enemy shields, engrams and whatnot. Though these may not be the biggest new features in the world, they’re certainly a long time coming and help improve the experience for many players.

Bungie has also teased talking about increased vault space in the next WeeKly Update so stay tuned for more information.
