Ever since Destiny was announced, Bungie have only showcased the PlayStation 4 version of the game. There is no update on how the Xbox One version is shaping up. GamingBolt got in touch with Jason Sussman who is the Senior Environment Artist at Bungie to ask whether the Xbox One version will be dumbed down compared to the PS4 version.

“We are working really hard so that the best experience and the quality of the game we are trying to deliver is equal across all platforms, as much as we possibly can,” Jason explained to GamingBolt.

And did the team faced any issues while developing on the Xbox One specifically the eSRAM? “Each console has their own specifications along with their tweaks. Every time you are working on cross platform [game], there are little differences between each console and we are making sure that the game looks great across all of them, and it does, it really looks good. I think we have succeeded.”

“We did not had any problems across any of the platforms,” Jason said to GamingBolt.

Destiny will launch across the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. For more on Destiny, check out its hub page here.
