Destiny Xur Inventory for August 21st: Thunderlord Returns

After the insanity last week with Xur selling Gjallarhorn in Destiny for the first time since a week after launch, we’re more or less back to the status quo this week. Xur can be found near the Vanguard in the Tower where he’ll remain till August 23rd, 2 AM PST.

This week, he’s carrying the Exotic heavy machine gun Thunderlord for 17 Strange Coins. Though it’s no Gjallarhorn, Thunderlord is still one of the best weapons in the game and is an absolute beast with its high rate of fire, thunder-coated rounds and large ammo reserves.

Exotic gear this week is kind of boring with Eternal Warrior (Exotic Titan helm), Mask of the Third Man (Exotic Hunter helm) and Starfire Protocol (Exotic Warlock chest) all on sale for 13 Strange Coins each. Exotic chest engrams can also be purchased for 23 Motes of Light.
