Leave it to Bungie to make sure that Destiny’s Exotic vendor Xur plays Scrooge at this time of year. Xur has returned to the Tower and can be found near the Speaker, where he will remain until December 25th, 2 AM PST.
Here’s the hilarious bit: Xur isn’t selling Three of Coins this week. This is a consumable item which increases the chance of an Exotic Engram dropping from your next Ultra kill, though it’s potency has been suspect for a while. Whether it’s a bug or not, this week will be relatively Exotic-less for some folk.
As for the other Exotic items, you can pick up Empyrean Bellicose (Titan helm), Knucklehead Radar (Hunter helm) and The Ram (Warlock helm), each for 13 Strange Coins.
The Exotic fusion rifle Plan C is also on sale and provides an excellent counter to the current shotgun meta. It’s yours for 23 Strange Coins. Legacy Engrams this week will grant Year One helms and cost 29 Strange Coins.
