Xur has returned to the Tower in Bungie’s Destiny, bringing a new range of Exotics. You can find him on the balcony near the Speaker where he will remain until June 26th, 2 AM PST.
The Exotic gear this week includes the Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Titan boots), Lucky Raspberry (Hunter chest) and Claws of Ahamkara (Warlock gloves), each costing 13 Strange Coins. Each Exotics is intriguing in its own way but as a Warlock user, the Claws of Ahamkara are definitely recommended since they provide double melee charges. This is incredible useful for every class (though Stormcallers using Transcendence should be careful – you need both melee charges along with grenade energy to use the perk with your Super).
Patience and Time is the Exotic this week. It costs 23 Strange Coins and has the unique perk of turning the user invisible when they peer down the scope. Useful? Probably situational but it’s an overall good sniper rifle for beginners. The Legacy Engram is for Year One helms and costs 29 Strange Coins.
Xur also has the usual heavy ammo synths, Three of Coins (Ultra kills have a chance to drop Exotics) and Glass Needles (for re-rolling Exotic gear).
