Xur has returned to the Reef in Bungie’s Destiny, carrying a range of “new” Exotics for players to spend their Strange Coins on. Head to the Vestian Outpost and visit yonder door that used to remain closed but is now permanently open for Xur where he will remain till 2 AM PST, May 8th.
This week, Xur is carrying Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan helm), Young Ahamkara’s Spine (Hunter gloves) and Heart of the Praxic Fire (Warlock chest), each for 13 Strange Coins. Each is useful in its own right – Crest of Alpha Lupi is a great tool for PvP when reviving someone quickly. Young Ahamkara’s Spine is a great tool for Gunslingers since it provides increased tripmine duration and lets you use two tripmines. Heart of the Praxic Fire reduces cooldowns on Radiance, thus allowing for more grenades to be thrown.
The Exotic weapon for this week is the SUROS Regime, an Exotic auto rifle which can either be fired slowly for increased range or quickly for increased fire rate. It costs 23 Strange Coins and comes highly recommended. The Legacy Engram this week is for Year One primary weapons in case you’re missing anything in your collection and costs 31 Strange Coins.
