You have to hand it Xur, Destiny’s Agent of the Nine and Exotic vendor. When he’s not carrying rubbish, he can be loved more than anything. When he is carrying mostly rubbish but with a side of something worthwhile, well, he’s slightly less hated. Find him in the Tower near the Vanguard where he’ll remain till November 29th, 2 AM PST.
Xur is carrying The Fourth Horseman this week. It’s an Exotic shotgun capable of dispersing all of its shells insanely quick when you hold down the trigger. Think of it as an Invective but dialed up to 11 (and fully automatic). It can be yours for 23 Strange Coins.
The rest of Xur’s gear is fairly typical: Helm of Saint-14, Crest of Alpha Lupi and Light Beyond Nemesis are available for 13 Strange Coins apiece. You can also pick up a Special weapon Legacy engram if you want, well, a Year One version of The Fourth Horseman. There’s also the usual Three of Coins for increased chances of Exotic engrams from Ultras at 7 Strange Coins and Glass Needles for re-rolling Exotic gear at 3 Strange Coins.
