Year Two Xur is finally here in Bungie’s Destiny and he’s brought an interesting new Exotic for the Warlock’s Stormcaller subclass. You can find him by the door near the Speaker in the Tower where he will remain until September 20th, 2 AM PST.
Xur is carrying The Impossible Machines, Exotic Warlock gloves which grant Landfall to the user for free. This is a perk in the Stormcaller class which essentially calls down an area of effect lightning attack when initiating the Stormtrance super. You can thus add Ionic Blink or another perk in the tree in addition to Landfall. The Impossible Machines can be yours for 13 Strange Coins.
Other equipment includes An Insurmountable Skullfort (Titan helm) and Young Ahamkara’s Spine (Hunter gloves) for 13 Strange Coins. The Legacy Engram, which contains a Year One Exotic, costs 31 Strange Coins and will grant you a Heavy Weapon. The Exotic Engram for Year Two is a Helm engram for 19 Strange Coins (not Motes of Light) so get cracking.
Finally, the Three of Coins consumable can be purchased for 7 Strange Coins. It will grant the chance for an Exotic on the next Ultra you kill. Check out stats for gear here.
