Time, patience, dedication and plenty of alts helped one player max out his level.

Destiny’s first expansion The Dark Below has only been out for a week but there’s already a player who’s hit level 32 in that time. Those who wish to hit level 32 need to hit the Crota’s End raid available in the expansion, pick up three pieces of raid gear and max them out using the new Radiant Shards.

So how did “EnormousTrash” manage it? By running the raid multiple times with different characters. Players are allowed to have three different characters and can thus switch out their gear each time and then running the raid again. This eliminates the need of waiting for the weekly reset and you can effectively stockpile shards and energies.

However, this player actually had five alternate characters. This was done by creating a new character, reaching level 20, equipping the gear necessary to get to level 31, acquiring the drops and then deleting the character to start anew. It’s crazy but that’s the dedication he showed to acquiring raid gear and getting to level 32.
