Destiny’s week-long PvP event Iron Banner will return on August 16th at “noon-ish” according to the latest weekly update from Bungie. Clash will be the de facto Guardian murdering mode this time around.

After the Twitch stream for Gamescom on August 16th, 10 AM PST to showcase the new Crucible mode for Rise of Iron, players can partake in some Iron Lord-flavoured action on Destiny. The event will actually begin later than usual due to maintenance beginning at 9 AM PDT. Iron Banner ends on August 23rd, 2 AM PDT.

Items that will be offered this time around include helms and chest armour, the Dedris’s Retort shotgun and the Finnala’s Peril handcannon. PlayStation players will have exclusive access to helms this time around. These are the items Saladin will be selling – players can also expect items to drop as post-match rewards as well.

Destiny’s Rise of Iron is out on September 20th for Xbox One and PS4.
