Destiny The Taken King

Say what you will about microtransactions and such but Bungie’s Destiny will finally be getting them with the Eververse Trading Company on October 13th, the same day that Iron Banner returns. Thanks to the wondrous machinations of Tess Everis, players will be able to use real money to buy Silver and obtain new emotes for their characters. These can range from new gestures to new dances and some of them have been previewed courtesy of Planet Destiny. Check them out below (skip to 4:44).

Some of the 18 new emotes include Blowing a Kiss to opponents; acting like Morpheus from the Matrix and pushing an opponent to bring it on; the much awaited slow clap; and so on. Players who aren’t interested in spending real money for the emotes can relax – Bungie will deposit some Silver for everyone to pick up an emote or two when Eververse goes live tomorrow.
