Bungie is taking the initiative heading into E3 2016 by announcing a livestream for the “next adventure” to Destiny. The livestream will take place on June 9th at 10 AM PST and according to Bungie’s weekly update, it will tell us “all about the next threat that you’ll confront as Guardians.”

Leaks over the past few weeks have hinted at what that next adventure could be though, namely the next expansion called Rise of Iron. According to anonymous sources, it will be a larger than House of Wolves and The Dark Below and features a new Fallen-themed raid for players to explore.

Whether it will release this September, as most major Destiny releases have, or later remains to be seen. It also makes you wonder what E3 2016 will hold for Bungie since it has Destiny 2 in the wings as well.

What are your thoughts on what the next Destiny adventure could be? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
