Destiny Rise of Iron

Right out of the blue, a Reddit user leaked an image for what seems to be Destiny‘s next big expansion, titled “Rise of Iron”. The image displays Lord Saladin, the man who runs the Iron Banner PvP event, with some wolves and a flaming axe.

It would be easy to outright dismiss the image, never mind how authentic it looks, but there’s more. Two anonymous sources close to Bungie confirmed the poster’s legitimacy to Kotaku and shared some interesting details. Apparently, it will be larger than House of Wolves and The Dark Below with a new, likely Fallen raid. The raid will also apparently be based on content that was cut from House of Wolves. Plans were made to release Rise of Iron in April but Bungie apparently delayed it some time ago.

Despite Kotaku being spot on with its Destiny leaks in the past, we advise taking this with a grain of salt. E3 2016 seems like a good place to make an announcement so stay tuned for more details.
