After going live yesterday, Destiny’s first raid – the Vault of Glass – has been completed by Primeguard. The 6 person fireteam managed to conquer the raid in 10 hours and 40 minutes.

Bungie noted the victory on Twitter. “Congratulations to @PrimeGuardHQ for completing the Raid. Now, try it on hard tier.” We don’t see that happening any time soon but hey, the things one will do for loot.

The Vault of Glass requires players of level 26 or higher and some truly powerful gear in order to conquer the various enemies within. It’s not a matter of brute force either – players will need to work together in certain scenarios. For example, if you don’t kill Oracles fast enough, you’ll be marked for negation and eliminated. A shield relic can be carried around to cleanse the negation but drop the relic and everyone dies.

Did we mention that’s only one stage of the raid? Let us know what you think of the raid in the comments and stay tuned for more content in Destiny..
